Staying consistent with studying was always a struggle for me. I tried apps, paper planners, and random to-do lists — but nothing stuck. Then I created a simple Google Sheets system that takes me just 15 minutes a week to manage — and it actually works.
1. The Problem: I Couldn't Stay Consistent
I used to start each week with good intentions — study more, stay focused, avoid distractions. But by Wednesday, I was overwhelmed and off track. I needed something that was flexible, visual, and super simple.

2. The Solution: A Simple Google Sheets Planner
I created a basic spreadsheet with the following columns:
- Subject/Topic
- Estimated Time
- Planned Date
- Status (Not Started, In Progress, Completed)
Then I added color-coding for each status so I could visually track progress at a glance.

3. How I Use It
- Every Sunday, I plan my week and fill in topics and estimated study times.
- Each day, I update the spreadsheet to reflect my progress.
- At the end of the week, I review what worked and adjust for the next week.
This entire system takes about 15 minutes a week to maintain — and it gives me clarity and motivation.
4. The Results
Since using this system, I've noticed:
- 📌 More focus and less wasted time
- 📌 Less decision fatigue
- 📌 Better weekly consistency

The key isn’t perfection — it’s consistency. And this simple system finally helped me get there.
